Abstract

For the dissemination of Vico’s studies in the Spanish language, Cuccaro’s translation of Vico’s De Antiquissima (1710) proved fundamental. Similarly, the “Preliminary Notice” written by the professor from the University of Buenos Aires serves as a testament to the historical moment of these Hispanic studies. A key work in the Latin American context of interest in Vico during the first half of the 20th century.
