Abstract
In this speech, F. Acri, with a clear, didactic and personal style, comments on Vico’s texts that form the basis of his three theories about ideas: one that presents them as paradigms or archetypes, another as associations of elements, and another, the theory of the single Idea in theological form, the most “Vichian” according to the author, as it is the best explained and applied. All three emerge and remain parallel throughout the Neapolitan’s work, reflecting his ideology, his doubts, his contradictions, and the possible reconciliations between them to understand divine, heroic and human wisdom.
