Abstract
From the lines of this work we want to address the question of the ruins as a paradigm of southern philosophical thinking and its fundamental role in shaping culture understood from an ontic-epistemic perspective (radical character, liminal condition or aesthetic aspect of the ruins). To do this, we propose a comparative reading between several texts by the Spanish philosopher José Manuel Sevilla Fernández related to southern thought (or mediterranean or meridional thought) and the vindication of the Vichian Logos.
