Abstract

This essay examines the philosophical and ethical-political problem represented by the «vanities», a central concept in the New Science, in a sense of de-ideologization of any idea of the primacy, both of peoples, as well as cultures and philosophies. The Author connects this problem directly with the «new critical art», which he considers from the perspective of a fundamental «practical» orientation of Vichian philosophy.
