Gelassenheit. A Hermeneutics of Conversation on a country path about thinking, by Martin Heidegger
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article explores the different semantic and conceptual dimensions of the notion of Gelassenheit, as presented in the text Conversation on a Country Path about Thinking, by Martin Heidegger. The notion of Gelassenheit appears, in this writing, as a multifaceted concept, overflowing its relationship with the concepts of technique, meditative thought or openness to mystery addressed later in Messkirch's speech. Through a hermeneutical analysis of the Conversation, this study isolates and comments on nine meanings associated with the concept of Gelassenheit. The objective of this analysis is to find out to what extent the understanding of Gelassenheit can contribute to the reflection on Being developed by Heidegger after his Khere.
