Abstract

Totalitarianism and Humanity are central concepts in the work of Hannah Arendt. My goal in this text is to make a clarification of the meanig they have in her work looking at the articulation between them. My intention is to show that the idea of Humanity is growing up in her thinking as an antithesis of "the fabricaton of mankind" that she exposes as atotalitarian idea. The conclusion is that from her phenomenology of action and thinking grows a meaning of Humanity fundamental for "the right to have rigths".
