Native cultures and nature of Being: the psyche in a double horizon of open words (Preliminaries a double reading)

Abstract

We describe some philosophical meanings of the hide; (a) as undercover, (b) as marginal and, (c) as weak. With this in mind we place in a reflexive, critic and post-colonial way some words linked to psyche and Being; each one of them tied at his own cultural atmosphere. We mostly think about in the next two cultural atmospheres: (1) the náhuatl, as Miguel León-Portilla describes it; and (2) the west one, as the work of Martin Heidegger trace it. Náhuatl philosophy and Zollikon´s seminary respectively. Words and cultures; soul and Being. Both cultural atmospheres will make the double horizon of words in with we wish make some philosophical sense to the word “soul” (psyche or yollotl). With respect to Being, even so his specific metaphysical attributes, we must put them all in our own new global and post-colonial multicultural environment. We know we just prepare a later and deeper lecture of Heidegger and León-Portilla ideas on psycho stuff, so we subtitle our paper prolegomena. From every hide and still silence, both thinkers, make us trace a new path in the way.
