Abstract

Cinema is a didactic resource with great potential in the field of language and literature teaching due to its hybridism as a genre and its thematic transversality. It is a valuable medium for aesthetic and communicative learning that, systematically worked as a multimodal text, represents each of the key competences in education. This study presents the hybridism and transversality of film within the current educational model as a medium that illustrates linguistic and literary competence (cultural awareness and expressions). Working examples are developed that show the strength of the audiovisual medium for the development of critical understanding of hypertext from the knowledge of the interrelation of codes and the transposition of the message in the formative framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
