El Eje de la Resistencia y la Guerra de Gaza. Quo Vadis?

El artículo analiza el "Eje de la Resistencia" liderado por Irán, una alianza regional que incluye a Siria, Hamás, Hezbolá, milicias iraquíes proiraníes y los hutíes yemeníes. Esta coalición, surgida tras la Revolución iraní de 1979, busca la destrucción de Israel y contrarrestar la influencia de Estados Unidos y Occidente en Oriente Medio. El ataque de Hamás del 7 de octubre de 2023 contra Israel, seguido por misiles de Hezbolá, los hutíes y, por primera vez, ataques directos de Irán, dejó al descubierto graves vulnerabilidades del Eje. El colapso del régimen sirio en 2024, el debilitamiento de Hezbolá, la derrota militar de Hamás y la reacción occidental ante los ataques hutíes en el Mar Rojo han trastocado la estrategia iraní. Frente al deterioro de su posición, Irán y sus aliados enfrentan ahora la presión de la estrategia regional del presidente Trump, orientada a frenar la influencia del Eje y lograr, por vía diplomática o militar, el desmantelamiento del programa nuclear iraní.
