The philosophical interpretation of the neurocientifical research in the last third of the 20th century has given way to a broad outlook of theoretical positions, from the different kinds of materialism (eliminativist, classic, emergentist) to the substancial dualisms, all the way to the many modalities of naturalism (anomalous monism, evolutionist naturalism, non-reductionistic naturalism or structuristic monism, amongst others). In the present paper I present the main lines of a new interpretative framework –that of noumenal monism– through which I try to answer to the mind-body problem in a ontically unitarian code, bearing in mind the essential heterogeneus character of the elements of the problem. I also deal with the main theoretical objections to the noumenal monism, which lead to two complementarian aspects: the property dualism and the emergent potentiality.</p>}, number={41}, journal={THÉMATA.
